Ad campaign launch checklist: 12 points
Half of all wasted budgets are campaigns launched without preparation. Run through this checklist before starting so the ads work instead of "testing blindly."
Before launch
- The goal is measurable — leads, sales, installs, reach (not "just to have it").
- The audience is described — who, where, what pain.
- The offer is formulated — why buy and why now.
- The platform is chosen for the audience, not "a bit everywhere."
- Creatives are ready — several hook variations to test.
- The landing page/profile is set up and leads to an action.
- The budget is sufficient for a statistically significant test, not "a trial."
Tracking
- UTM tags on all links.
- Pixel/counter installed and catching events.
- Promo codes for offline attribution (if needed).
After launch
- An optimization plan — what to turn off, what to scale and when.
- Success metrics set in advance: CPA, ROMI — not likes.
