Ad campaign launch checklist: 12 points

2026-04-16 · 4 min

Half of all wasted budgets are campaigns launched without preparation. Run through this checklist before starting so the ads work instead of "testing blindly."

Before launch

  1. The goal is measurable — leads, sales, installs, reach (not "just to have it").
  2. The audience is described — who, where, what pain.
  3. The offer is formulated — why buy and why now.
  4. The platform is chosen for the audience, not "a bit everywhere."
  5. Creatives are ready — several hook variations to test.
  6. The landing page/profile is set up and leads to an action.
  7. The budget is sufficient for a statistically significant test, not "a trial."

Tracking

  1. UTM tags on all links.
  2. Pixel/counter installed and catching events.
  3. Promo codes for offline attribution (if needed).

After launch

  1. An optimization plan — what to turn off, what to scale and when.
  2. Success metrics set in advance: CPA, ROMI — not likes.

Takeaway

Preparation saves budget better than any "saving on the test." If you want to launch a campaign that's measured and pays off — we'll help build and run it turnkey.
